THE ORIGINAL, NOW DERELICT BUILDING

The international chef Dani García continues his expansion in his native Marbella and has just announced a new restaurant and hospitality project that will open its doors in 2024 in the emblematic building of Banco Árabe Español (Aresbank) at the end of the Golden Mile closest to Marbella. The venture is joint with another renowned company in the Costa del Sol, the Mosh Group.

Built in the mid-1980s this opulent structure was originally the headquarters of Aresbank – the financial institution that originally occupied it has been closed for decades.

The property is located about 100 meters from the beach and has an area of more than 2,000 square meters that includes underground parking, garden and main floor, which will allow these two Marbella companies to develop a project linked to the activity that has led to gain a foothold in their respective sectors.

It should be remembered that Dani García has been involved in several restaurants in Marbella, among which Bibo, Leña, Alelí, Tragabuches, Kemuri or Lobito de Mar stand out; while its partners in this new project have specialized in catering and leisure establishments such as Playa Padre, Nu Downtown or Motel Particular.

In order to revalidate the commitment of both companies in this future project and underlining the importance that the recovery of this location represents for the city, the mayoress of Marbella, Angeles Muñoz, visited the venue accompanied by the heads of Grupo Mosh, Albert Beniflah, and from the Dani García Group, Javier and Laura Gutiérrez.
