AND I WASN’T FAR OFF!

Some of you dear regular readers who are keeping an eye on our magazine may have read my article on Celebrity Masterchef which started a few weeks ago. Then I predicted the four that I felt would become semi finalists.

John Partridge, (Coronation Street) Martin Bayfield, (Rugby) Spencer Matthews (Chelsea reality star) and A.J. Pritchard (Pro dancer in Strictly) were my tip for the top. I was nearly right, unfortunately AJ was let go and Stef Reid (medal winning paralympian)  took the fourth place. It has been a great series and this week will be no exception, with the contestants having to create sweet and savoury items for an afternoon tea for legendary pastry chef Eric Lanlard, before each producing a three-course menu to serve to the country’s strictest restaurant critics.

I am amazed at the amateurs that can produce such a standard. My tip to win?  The immensely tall, Martin Bayfield, seen here with co-presenter Greg Wallace.
