Last month we wrote about the imminent opening of the Da Bruno group’s latest venture. Restaurante DOSS. Well, the highly anticipated opening has taken place with quite a fanfare especially on its opening nights when more than 800 invitees saw what Guiseppina and Bruno and family had created on the site opposite the Artola Hotel and next to La Reserva de Marbella. The Alcadesa, Angeles Muñoz, also attended as well as many other dignitaries.

The restaurant is on two floors with a Mediterranean influence downstairs and an Asian inspired restaurant above.

The whole place is surrounded by ample terraces.




One of my old chefs José Luis Alcantara was executive chef for the opening and in charge of the Asian kitchen, is Carlos Navarro who is an exceptionally skilled Asian chef. Jesus Tejero is rersponsible for event operations as entertainment will be a big part of DOSS’ raison d’etre.

There is a Louis Roederer Champagne Bar on the DOSS patio which is already very popular.
