OK then, to complete the trilogy;  just a simple burger.

Ingredients

500g turkey mince

Clove of garlic finely chopped

One onion finely chopped

Cayenne pepper

Touch of Lea and Perrins

Dash of Tabasco

1 egg yolk

Some parsley finely chopped

1 tbsp oil for frying

4 burger rolls

 

For the Turkeyslaw

One onion grated

Two Carrots grated

White cabbage grated

Salt and black pepper

Teaspoon of Dijon mustard

Table spoon of olive oil

Dash of white wine vinegar

100 ml of Mayonnaise

(Fresh cranberries and/ or walnuts optional)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

In a large bowl mix the minced turkey with all the ingredients except the egg yolk. Add a little salt to taste.

Add the yolk to the mix and turn into four equally sized burgers.

Step 3

In a pan seal the burgers in the oil, turn and cover. Cook for two minutes on either side.

Serve on a ciabatta bread

Step 2

To make the Turkeyslaw: Mix all the ingredients together and season to taste. The addition of the Cranberries and walnuts take this dish to another level

Step 4

Serve with the Turkeyslaw separately and some sweet potato fries.
